Vivid Lights
The Vivid Lights event is one of the most prominent attractions that will focus on narrating the story of resilience this year. The festival will flaunt an art collection that demonstrates themes of isolation, escapism and human connection. In a first, Cockle Bay in Darling Harbour will host a 100m floating light walk consisting of large-scale artwork called “Ephemeral”.

Vivid Ideas is where all the unique and brilliant minds come together to discuss life and being in a new light. The folks at Vivid Ideas 2021 will inspire you to think differently, shake things up and speak out boldly. The workshops, intriguing talks and discussions embrace the quirks and kinks of humanity and urge on to begin conversations that will continue long even after the festival has ended. Vivid 2021 will also introduce UK’s Jameela Jamil, who will explore the various aspects of body positivity and reveal how her podcast platform I-weigh has been a place for imperfection and self-acceptance.
Vivid Music
Vivid isn’t just meant as a visual treat, but also for all your other senses. Vivid Music will introduce you to some of the best musicians who will bless your ears. The event will showcase a slew of musical performances from both the established and budding talents in music, held across the big and small venues and bars. Here’s our pick on what not to miss at Vivid Music 2021: Mildlife, a 5-member band on the rise, will present a combination of floor-movers and chillers alongside acoustic and electronic instrumentation, perfect for all age groups. Catch them live at the City Recital Hall.
